From being pavement poetry with a beat to a way of expressing yourself, rapping has become India’s new hip hop movement. If you think you have that beat and heat in yourself, come and rap it at Poona 05.
○ The competition will consist of two rounds:
1.Elimination:
■ Participants will have to perform any of their original freestyle rap.
2.Final:
■ The top 8 participants will have to face each other in a rap battle format.
■ Every battle will be a knockout and the winners will qualify for the next battle.
○ Participation is open to completely vaccinated individuals allowed on campus of College of Engineering, Pune.
○ The time limit for each rap battle will be 3 minutes each.
○ The participant is allowed to use puns, double entendre and quips, but not any sort of sexist or offensive slurs will lead to immediate disqualification.
○ Use of obscene language, vulgarity, sexual slangs, use of political references, and religious comments will lead to disqualification.
○ Any scoring tracks should be submitted to the respective Event Head before the 16th of December.
○ At least 3 instruments should be used (different guitars will count as different instruments).
